19.10.2011r. grupa zapalonych kibiców Śląska Wrocław z MSPDiON wraz z opiekunami wizytowała budynek klubowy przy ul. Oporowskiej 62 we Wrocławiu. Już niebawem wrocławski zespół przeniesie się na nowy stadion i będzie tam rozgrywał swoje pojedynki ligowe, więc było to swego rodzaju pożegnanie milickich fanów z Oporowską 62, gdzie spędzili wiele szczęśliwych i emocjonujących chwil dopingując ukochany Śląsk w ligowych potyczkach.

Milickie Stowarzyszenie Przyjaciół Dzieci i Osób Niepełnosprawnych zorganizowało 3 dniowe wyjazdowe szkolenie pn. „Rozumiem i wspieram seksualność mojego dziecka” Szkolenie odbyło się w Ośrodku „Ziemowit” w Jarnołtówku, udział w nim wzięły dzieci, młodzież i ich rodzice pod okiem wykwalifikowanej kadry zatrudnionej w MSPDiON.

W dniu 09.09.2011r. odbył się V Dolnośląski Turniej Piłki Nożnej dla Osób z Niepełnosprawnością Intelektualną "TURGOL" organizowany przez Dolnośląskie Stowarzyszenie Pomocy Dzieciom i Młodzieży z MPDz "OSTOJA". Impreza odbyła się na boiskach Młodzieżowego Centrum Sportu przy ulicy Lotniczej we Wrocławiu. Zmagania 14 drużyn z Warsztatów Terapii Zajęciowej i Środowiskowych Domów Samopomocy toczyły się w 2 grupach po 7 zespołów.
